ProposalSpaceX is proposing a 485' tall launch tower to lift the ship and booster on the launch mount, and to catch the super-heavy booster upon return from launch. The tower will be constructed out of structural steel trusses to allow the mechanical arms to lift vehicles.
LocationThis new structure will be located at SpaceX's Launch Site within the Space Launch Complex 37 fence line. The structure will be approx. 0.3 miles from the beach and is on Space Force property. Nearby airfields include the Titusville airport, the Shuttle Landing Facility and the CCSFS Skid Strip.
